Indian Macgyver Says

I did all this. No one helped at all. From the photos, to the graphics, to the layout, and most definitely the copy, I did it all.*

(I have to say that so Ma Macgyver knows who’s responsible.)

But for the record none of the Macgyver siblings have ever said that to dear, dear, understanding Mama Mac’. In fact we’ve never said it to Pa Macgyver either.

No there’s just some things you don’t say in the Indian Macgyver family. Instead we say “Stop sitting on my head,” or, “Stop eating my head.” I can’t say why. I think I’ve probably said too much as it is.

How ’bout you, ever say too much (or not enough) to your mother or a loved one?

There’s still a little more I want to say but it’ll wait. It has to because kind and forgiving Ma Macgyver won’t. So let me end for now by saying,

Happy Mother’s Day, Y’all!

*Ok it was luck more than skill when it came to photographing the momma & baby birds, stay tuned for the wild, wild details.

    1. oh so true phoenix. but i think you’d agree it’s those complications that make the relationship so worth cherishing and remembering (because try as we might we’ll never forget ’em 😉 )

thanks the pictures were really by luck. i was walking in my backyard and stumbled upon them – they startled me and i sure startled them. i only saw the baby birds when i got too close taking the mother’s picture and she flew away revealing the littles ones she left behind. i felt awfully bad after that so i had to keep coming back out and checking on them until she finally came back. but that’s not the end of the story. till a later post!

      1. I do agree. 🙂
That’s a nice story. I look forward to hearing the end of it. And I don’t think I could have just forgotten about them either.
