Intrepid Ace Reporter Indian Macgyver, here at the helm of a hard hitting exposé on the enigmatic, mercurial blogger, only known as, Indian Macgyver.
First let me drop a link to – I. M. Asks because hey it’s my blog. And second, yes, I am talking to myself.
One thing’s for sure, this ain’t no typical Q&A post. As my editor, J. Jonas Patel, always says, “Get on with the story already!”
So Mac’, let’s begin with the obvious. Why blog anonymously?
And why under the name, Indian Macgyver?
Honestly Mac’ I never thought about blogging under my real name (The WITSEC rules are pretty clear on that point). So a pseudonym just made sense.
Indian Macgyver worked out well. It’s accurate. I’m Indian and I really liked MACGYVER as a kid, still do.
Also I like going by Indian Macgyver online, because offline I don’t look Indian–so I’ve been told (repeatedly).
Bonus, I never have to spell out: I-N-D-I-A-N M-A-C-G-Y-V-E-R.
WITSEC, now that sounds pretty promising. Anything you
care can share with your readers?
Remember Mac’ people want dirt, juicy gossip, scandalous sex.
Umm…No. It’s a joke. I thought this was just a fun twist on an “about” page.
Well okay how ’bout this. The tagline for my old blog is, Dependability’s Sexy. That count?
First, I ask the questions here. And second, no it doesn’t.
So, tell us, Mac’ what will readers find when they visit IndianMacgyver.com?
They’ll find some humor, curiosity, creativity, sibling
competitiveness camaraderie, and a little randomness.
Oh and coming soon, they’ll find something tasty!
That sounds great but how’s any of this different from your old blog Mac’?
I approach this blog differently. Before I asked myself, what do people want to read. Now I ask myself, what do I want to say.
So what does this difference mean to you?
And, what you do hope readers get from it?
It means, more fun. I mean, I hate talking about myself but talking to myself — is just plain fun.
As for readers, I just hope they get the point. Then I expressed myself clearly. I can’t hope for more than that.
If they get the jokes, well, then I’m humbled.
